My name is Ralina Talipova and I am a Software Engineer passionate about creating modern applications and delivering scalable solutions that make a real impact. I am based in the Netherlands and currently work at GRESB.
I am a Software Engineer with extensive experience in building and designing systems for a variety of clients, including telecommunications, airlines, government organisations, and sustainability. Currently, I work at GRESB, where I contribute to Project Codebook — a suite of internal services designed to replace complex Excel-based workflows and enable a more scalable, structured, and automated approach to building and completing ESG and Real Estate survey assessments.
I specialise in full-stack development, building scalable backend systems with microservices, authentication and authorization, REST integrations, messaging, and transaction management, while also developing responsive frontend applications using Svelte. I have expert-level knowledge in Java, Micronaut, the Spring ecosystem, Hibernate/JPA, and related libraries and frameworks, enabling me to deliver robust and maintainable software solutions.
I take ownership of the projects I work on, leading products through to successful delivery. On a daily basis, I design and implement new features based on business requirements, write unit, integration, and acceptance tests, fix bugs and incidents, and work on tech debt. I also mentor colleagues and onboard new team members, helping the team grow professionally.
I am passionate about coding and delivering software that makes a real impact for end users. I am driven to improve existing systems, and I bring a combination of strong technical expertise and soft skills, allowing me to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
I enjoy learning new technologies and attending conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in software development.
